Vote for Garden Harvest Saturday July 9th to win a Toyota Van!

Toyota is giving out 100 vehicles to 100 charities. Out of a pool of 5000 applicants nationwide, Garden Harvest was selected as one of 500 finalists in this competition.  The winners are determined by YOU! Help us be one of the 100 winners! With a Toyota van, we can deliver fresh organic produce and eggs to those small soup kitchens that cannot make it out to the farm to pick up. The van will also transport to the farm shelter residents who are eager to adopt plots of land to grow food for themselves, their families, and others, and also learn the marketable job skills we teach - carpentry, masonry, welding, equipment operation – so they have the best chance of securing the kind of employment that pays a livable wage.

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:

1)      Right now, please go to Garden Harvest’s Facebook page: www.facebook.com/gardenharvest, and click the “Like” button next to Garden Harvest’s name at the top of the page.   That way we can remind you on July 8^th to vote July 9^th. Plus you get to hear of great big harvests and other fun volunteer opportunities as they arise; If ever you feel you would like to not receive notices from GH on your facebook page, you can simply “unlike” us.

2)      On July 9^th, go to www.facebook.com/toyota.  Click on the 100 Cars for Good link.  On the next page, click VOTE NOW; and that will take you to the page where Garden Harvest is listed along with four other charities that are competing to win a Toyota vehicle that day.  Only one of us will win; the other four receive $1000.
