People are hungry
the world over. Therefore, Garden Harvest needs to establish
satellite farms
in every state in America as well as in countries overseas where poverty
& hunger exist.
This is made
possible by the generosity of landowners
who donate their farms or their lots of vacant land to Garden
Harvest. We then establish local centers modeled after the parent
farm in Maryland where communities contribute their resources - their
time, their expertise, their material resources - to produce organic
foods for the needy within their region.
The replication
of the Garden Harvest model is tailored to suit each region:
According to the local environment and available resources, a Garden
Harvest satellite farm may produce vegetables and fruits; another may
specialize in the animal products of milk, eggs, and cheese; another may
do it all.
People or
organizations that donate their land to Garden Harvest receive the
benefits of:
