Next?
Long term plans are to:
Grow & donate 1,000,000 lbs. of organic produce each year to serve over
500 emergency feeding programs. Once our root cellar is in place, this produce
will be distributed evenly 12 months of the year.
Rescue
& distribute 500,000 additional pounds of produce from commercial farms; in
2003, we collected and gave out over 50,000 lbs. from commercial farms.
Expand
the Donate Farm Animals Program to people living in the poorest rural
counties in American and to more
regions of the world.
Expand our egg production and establish
our milk & cheese
production program to supply quality protein foods at much reduced prices to
low-income persons, now referred to as the "working poor".
Establish the infrastructure necessary to
expand our Education Programs to meet the overwhelming demand;
and
to further develop the education materials and curriculum synthesizing Garden Harvest's policies and methodology into a universal model applicable to other
cultures in communities world wide.
