Adult Volunteer Waiver

I wish to volunteer my services to alleviate hunger through the Garden Harvest Program. I understand that the nature of the volunteer activities which are typically performed by Garden Harvest volunteers, and which I may be performing as a Garden Harvest volunteer, may involve strenuous physical activity, inclement weather, working with farm tools and equipment, working with farm animals, at times traveling to neighboring farms, possible exposure to ticks with Lymes Disease, and other potential risks of injury associated with farm work. Knowing this, I still wish to volunteer and hereby assume the liability from any accident or injury to my person or my property, which I may sustain in connection with my participation as a Garden Harvest volunteer. In addition, I hereby release and discharge Garden Harvest and any of its members, directors, officers, employees, partners, affiliates, agents, and successors from any and all liability or responsibility for any such accident or injury. Furthermore, I will not hold the person(s) who own and/or operate the farm(s) on which we volunteer, liable for accidents, injury, or death during the farming events. Furthermore, I do hereby grant and convey unto Garden Harvest all right, title, and interest in any and all photographic images and video or audio recordings made by Garden Harvest during my volunteer work.
